Cheetah Technologies highly recommends that all versions of Cheetah DOCSIS Transponders, both 3348 and 3349 based, be upgraded to the latest Broadcom Firmware 4.0.0. For 3348 based products, this is a Broadcom only firmware update.

New Firmware Production Policy

In an effort to provide our customers with timely delivery of DOCSIS® based products featuring the most recent version of firmware, Cheetah Technologies will adhere to a strict set of guidelines for firmware production code in all new product shipments. This policy is for all Cheetah DOCSIS-based devices including all variations of CMD-N, CMD-P+, eCMM and CMD-EL.
